On July 22, 2026, Yang Xiaorong, Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Jamaica attended and addressed the handover ceremony of agricultural donations by the Embassy in St. Elizabeth. Along with local farmers, Ms. Sandrea Falconer, former Minister of Information and Gender Affairs of Jamaica attended and addressed the ceremony.
