On December 4, 2025, the Chinese Navy hospital ship Ark Silk Road arrived in Montego Bay, Jamaica. His Excellency Wang Jinfeng, Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica, Dr. the Hon. Christopher Tufton, Minister of Health and Wellness of Jamaica, Councillor Richard Vernon, Mayor of Montego Bay, were present at the dock to welcome and tour the ship.
