On March 13, 2026, His Excellency Wang Jinfeng, Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica, attended the handover ceremony for the third consignment of disaster relief supplies by the Government of the People’s Republic of China to the Government of Jamaica. Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica, Mr. Arvin Gayle, Director General of the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management of Jamaica, and Mrs. Wang Youli, Counselor of the Embassy of China in Jamaica attended the handover ceremony.
