On 13 December 2024, Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica Chen Daojiang visited the Gleaner Company (Media) Limited, and met with Mr. Anthony Smith, the CEO of RJRGleaner, and its executive team. The two sides exchanged views on China-Jamaica media cooperation.
