On 8th November 2022, the Chinese Embassy in Jamaica donated medical supplies to the Jamaica Teacher's Association (JTA). The medical supplies include 75,000 medical masks and 720 bottles of hand sanitizer.

    Mr. Hu Yumin, Deputy Chief of Mission and Political Counsellor of the Embassy, and Dr. Mark Nicely, Secretary General of the JTA attended the handover ceremony.
