On October 16th, Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica H.E. Chen Daojiang attended the ceremony for the presentation of National Honours and Awards, hosted by the Most Honourable Sir Patrick Allen, Governor General of Jamaica. The Most Honourable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica, Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of the Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator the Honourable Thomas Tavares-Finson, President of the Senate, the Most Honourable Juliet Holness, Speaker of the House of Representatives and other Cabinet Members attended the ceremony along with some 1000 guests.
